Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) helps safeguard access to data and applications. It provides an additional layer of security using a second form of authentication.

As part of the enrollment process, you must install a 3rd party application on your smartphone. We recommend the Microsoft Authenticator application for the best experience. Only the Microsoft application allows you to complete MFA requests by replying to a push notification.

The Microsoft Authentication app is not affiliated with PCL in any way. It does not track, report on, or log any of your activity to PCL.

Any authenticator app that generates One Time Passwords (OTP) using RFC 4226 such as Google Authenticator, or Authy will work.

The notification below indicates that you are required to enroll to MFA before you can access any cloud resource.

1. Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and click Next on the enrollment page.

2. Open the Authenticator app on your phone and select + and then Work or school account. Click Next on the enrollment page.
